If you’re like us, you’re probably wondering where the month of June went as we come sliding head first into the July 4th weekend. It could be that we all look forward to the 4th as the biggest and favorite of summer holidays and thus the time flies by in anticipation. And who can blame us! The smell of burgers and dogs cooking on the grill, family and friends gathered together, and every child’s excitement and enthusiasm over when the fireworks will start. Great times for everyone but they always go smoother with a little planning. Some prefer fireworks displays that have all day family fun scheduled while others like to have their family fun at home and rally the troops later in hopes of getting a good vantage point of their favorite display. Regardless of which camp you fall into, there’s a fireworks display in Kansas City that’s certain to place the exclamation point on your day’s activities.
With that same childlike excitement, we invite you to check out our 3 favorite fireworks displays in Kansas City. These are in no particular order but simply a sampling of celebrations we’ve enjoyed over the years. If one of these aren’t near you, no worries, there are many more to choose from in the KC Metro area and you can find a pretty complete list here at VisitKC.com.
